Complete video surveillance system in the palm of your hand.  The Wise unit is very compact and measures only 110mm x 95mm x 45mm.  Wise includes camera, alarm image storage and transmission.  No coax cabling required.  Wise is supplied complete with 12Vdc power pack, mounting bracket, 4m null modem cable, SuperSleuth Receiver software, manual and quick installation guide.

Proven video motion detection for indoor or outdoor applications.  SuperSleuth video motion detection has been proven in hundreds of installations over 8 years worldwide.  The video motion detection algorithm analyses for movement rather than comparing light intensity changes.  Four rubber band rectangular zones can be positioned to detect movement allowing targeting of specific areas, unlike PIR’s.

Proven video motion detection for indoor or outdoor applications (cont).  A pair of zones can be “ANDED” to reduce alarms from birds and animals.  The video motion detection zones can be “ANDED” with an external sensor via the external input.  Video zones should be positioned at entrances, exits, and objects of interest and value.

On board storage of up to 700 alarm images with time/date stamp.  Wise stores 700 to 2500 low resolution alarm images in a rotating database (First in first out). Color or hi resolution up to 700.  Alarmed images have unique event numbers and are time/date stamped.  Images are stored in non volatile memory.  Image database can be downloaded.  Downloaded database can be searched by site, event numbers, time of date.

Transmission of images over telephone line or directly to a computer.  Transmission of alarmed images or “live viewing” to a computer can be achieved by direct connection, modem/telephone line or GSM modem.  On alarm, Wise can dial up to 2 receiver site based on a timer.  Wise will continue to dial out if connection has been unsuccessful. However, the frequency will be reduced over time to avoid excessive dialing.

Programmability  When motion is detected, Wise can be programmed to store single or multiple images.  Wise can provide an contact closure to activate an output, eg siren and strobe, with programmable duration.  The video motion detection can be based on a timer.  Alarm transmission to a monitoring station is programmable based on timer.

External input and relay output.  The external input can be a sensor or contact closure providing an alarm trigger.  Alternatively, the external input can be a switch for on/off or monitor mode.  The monitor mode allows central station monitoring only when Wise is activated. Otherwise, Wise stores alarm images only.  Relay output controls output devices by video motion detection or user activation.

Unique modem reboot.  Modems are prone to locking up due to power or telephone line interference or spikes.  Wise checks the modem every minute and reboots by resetting the power if the modem does not response correctly.  This is an extremely important requirement for any modem transmission equipment!!

Easy installation  Wise is a complete digital system and hence does not require coax cable wiring.  Wise can work independently collecting alarm images without a computer or modem. It only requires a 12V dc input.  Wise can replace an existing PIR (passive infrared detector) as it requires 12V dc input and has a relay output.

Extensive applications.  Wise is ideal for small businesses and chain stores where single camera is required.  For the first time, residential homes and apartments have an affordable complete and high technology video surveillance system.  Ideal for banks in holdup verification.  Applications include vending/ticket machines, taxis, buses, trains and portable surveillance requirements.

The monitor mode allows alarm image storage with no image transmission unless activated be a switch or alarm panel. The above prevents excessive video alarms!!
