A professional sport is a sport where the athletes get a payment for their performance.

A college sport is an athletic competition funded and organized by institutions such as colleges or universities.

A hero is a person that has the courage or ability to do brave deeds and has noble qualities like no other. In my definition, a sports hero, is not only an athlete with good athletic abilities, but also has great integrity and character. To have great integrity you have to have good moral character, honesty, and have a good sense of ethics.

In sports, many injuries occur. A lot of those injuries are head injuries and one of the main head injuries is called traumatic brain injury. A traumatic brain injury is sudden physical damage to the brain from an outside source, such as getting hit in the head with a ball.

Some other injuries may include injuries to the leg and arms. Most leg injuries are caused by a muscle strain. Also, pain in the legs is strongly related to problems with the lower back. A common arm injury is an arm strain, an injury to the muscles or tendons attached to the bones in the lower arm.

Exercise is a very important part of your life. If you don’t exercise, your muscles will become loose and weak. Also, your heart and lungs won’t perform correctly and your joints will be stiff and will certainly be injured. Our bodies desire exercise. They are meant to move. Regular exercise is essential for good health and physical fitness.

Participating in sports is a great way to lose weight and manage a healthy weight level. The point of weight management is to help a person achieve and stay at the best weight possible. Another purpose of weight loss is the treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders related with obesity or with any eating disorders. Weight management is an important part of a healthy lifestyle.

Many Athletes make a lot of money playing sports. Tiger Woods is the highest paid athlete in the world today. He took home nearly $100 million dollars last year. The highest paid sport in the world today is boxing. World class boxers are able to make $50 million a year.

Sports today are able to provide millions of people with jobs, anywhere from being a head coach to working in a concessions area in a sports stadium. People are able to make a career from sports, such as, being an athletic trainer.
