Conference Synopsis PPC09: Not yet closed! Snafu with conc. banking, working on getting audit to close; Projected return ~ $10k PPC11: nearly closed, working with Treasurer(s) to close, Projected loss $25k. –TPS Special Issue on PPST on track for October, 2012 PPPS 2013: On track PPC15 : Austin TX, Chair Mark Crawford Outgoing years: United Kingdom (London), Boston or Orlando

Pulsed Power Plasma Science 2013 (Combined PPC & ICOPS) General Chair: Bryan Oliver, Technical Chairs: Mark Crawford and John Verboncoeur Treasurer: Jane Lehr (first hand look at finances!) Venue: Hyatt Regency Embarcadero San Francisco Attendance ~ 1150 Conservative room requirements ( 540 guest rooms) 5 technical days day Mini-course Night out and Banquet, possible tour of NIF Status: PPST met at Conference Hotel for Site visit (all is well); Budget submitted via NPSS site; website set to launch next week

Pulsed Power Conference June 1-5, 2015 Austin, TX General Chair: Mark Crawford Technical Chair: TBD Venue –Hilton Austin, contract signed 31 August, 2011 –1860 total room-nights with 100% occupancy mid-week (425 rooms) –1347 room-nights run-of-house at $199/night –418 room-nights at prevailing government per diem (currently $108) Co-Located with SOFE (Chair: JP Allain) –Common breaks, posters, vendors, night-out and plenaries. –Independent oral sessions and banquets MOU with SoFE not yet negotiated but will include separate budgets No agreement yet signed with IEEE MCM for support services
