“Three Flags”, 1958 Do you see repetition and symmetry? Does it remind you of anything? What makes this picture different from a real American Flag? Do you like it?

Now it’s your turn! Draw a square with your fingernail on the top corner of your piece of tinfoil. (This will be the blue area where you glue your stars.) Paint big red stripes. Leave a “2 finger” space between your lines. Be sure not to paint your square red – paint it blue. Raise your hand and we will bring you a white paper and help you press it on your tinfoil. (Don’t forget your name on the back). Glue on your stars!
