UNESCO United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation A UNESCO World Heritage Site is a place (such as forest, mountain, lake, desert, monument, building, complex, or city) that is listed by the UNESCO as of special cultural or physical / natural significance. A World Heritage Site is a cultural or natural conserved site that the world community regards as having outstanding universal value
