Organizational Strategies Shared decision making practices. Members of the school community learn collaborative skills. Creates a caring environment for students. 2
School Policies and Practices Should reflect society’s underlying values and philosophy. All school employees should be stakeholders. Embody the school’s beliefs relative to sociological character of the institution. 3
School Organization and Leadership Will enhance or detract from developing learning communities. Does it prepare students for multicultural and democratic societies? Top-down leadership is unlikely to create a collaborative, caring cultures. Democracy is discussed but fail to practice shared decision making. School stakeholders; such as, students, teachers administrators, parents and community members, create a multicultural hub. Parental involvement enhances student learning. 4
