Lessons learned Generic - Advanced notification - Too many modules/too integrated - too generic! Bespoke- Finding the right person is hard - Getting the right people to attend vital - Follow up needed Networks - great opportunities for new audience - Can focus on current topics - Must know membership in advance Guidance notes - Were invaluable Conference - Overall success – needs a better theme

Generic training being more audience focussed – e.g. developers, councillors, DC officers, Transport Planners etc Bespoke training – last years boroughs continued support Bespoke training – Set up a mentoring programme Networking – focussing on major institutions Website – Get it up and running Website – include forums and info exchange Conference – relate back to theme for the year Conference – Less lecture based more interactive/tutorial
