Roles and Responsibilities I. Focal Point:  Decides if nutrition initial needs assessment requires to be conducted  Provides overall direction in conducting NINA  Analyze and Interpret information generated  Recommend nutrition interventions for the affected population  Initiates nutrition programming needed by the affected population

Roles and Responsibilities II. Information and Data Manager Maintains data repository for NINA Collate data from assessment teams Ensure submission of accomplished NINA form the assessment teams Encode data from NINA in the reporting tool, if necessary

Roles and Responsibilities III. Assessment Team: Conduct quality nutrition initial needs assessment in the assigned area Submit accomplished NINA within 24 hours to the Information and Data Manager or nutrition worker eg BNS, D/CNPC

Tools Recording Tool: NINA paper- based form Reporting Tool: Microsoft Excel

Use of Information and Communications Technology NINA Report IMOs, NAOs, Decision- makers Internet SMS Phone Call Facsimile Radio Assessment Team will utilize any available communication to promptly transmit the data
