Informatics and Telematics Institute Ministry of Development2 Centre for Research and Technology - Hellas facts founded in 1998 as a non-profit organisation under the auspices of the General Secretarial of Research and Technology of the Greek Ministry of Development since March 2000, it constitutes one of the four institutes of the National Centre for Research and Technology – Hellas set-up to constitute an advanced research centre with continuous interaction with the academic community, the National and European Informatics and Telematics Industry, the international scientific community and the public sector initially funded by the Greek Government with a seed capital of 1,5 Million Euro for the period it has attracted total funds in the range of 2 Million Euro from National and European competitive R&D collaboration projects ( )
