Summary There are considerable differences in road traffic injuries during childhood and youth between socioeconomic groups. Socioeconomic differentials increase when young people come into contact with motorised vehicles. Socio-economic differences in traffic- injury risks exist for both girls and boys. Hasselberg et al.
