 A coast is the part of land near the sea, or the edge of a piece of land near water.

 A continent is any part of the world’s main continuous expanses of land.

 A deep narrow valley with steep sides and often with a stream flowing through it 

 A large body of ice moving slowly down a slope or valley or spreading outward on a land surface.

 A piece of land almost surrounded by water or projecting out into a body of water.

 A narrow passage of water connecting two seas or two large bodies of water.

 Definition: An isthmus is a narrow strip of land with sea on either side, forming a link between two larger areas of land.

 Definition: A place on the coast where vessels may find shelter
