Geography Geography is concerned with the distribution of people and things and the location of places on the earth's surface, and with the relationships between people and their natural environment. Two Broad Categories: Physical geography Human geography (cultural)

Cardinal Directions

Longitude The north and south lines running from pole to pole on a map or globe grid. the angular distance between a point on any meridian and the prime meridian at Greenwich Measured in degrees

International Date Line

Latitude Latitude is only 180 degrees. Latitude lines run east and west and measure north or south. The Equator is at 0 degrees latitude.
