Light My Fire This song reflects its time by like doing drugs and getting high all the time cause they didn’t know that it was bad yet. They always partied and had fun and they didn’t even know that they were shortening their lives every time they smoked and did drugs.

A tell of 2 cities by Charles Dickens The year is 1775, and life in England and France seems paradoxically the best and the worst that it can be. The rulers and ruling classes of both countries may have the best of life, but they are out of touch with the common people and believe that the status quo will continue forever. In France, inflation is out of control and an oppressive social system results in intolerable and extreme injustices being committed against average citizens, who believe they have the worst of life. The breaking point — riotous rebellion — is near, and the populace of France secretly but steadily moves toward revolution.

Charles Dickens bio Charles Dickens was born on February 7, 1812, the son of John and Elizabeth Dickens. John Dickens was a clerk in the Naval Pay Office. He had a poor head for finances, and in 1824 found himself imprisoned for debt. His wife and children, with the exception of Charles, who was put to work at warrens blacking factory, joined him in the Marshalsea Prison. When the family finances were put at least partly to rights and his father was released, the 12 year old Dickens, already scarred psychologically by the experience, was further wounded by his mother's insistence that he continue to work at the factory. His father, however, rescued him from that fate, and between 1824 and 1827 Dickens was a day pupil at a school in London. At fifteen, he found employment as an office boy at an attorney's, while he studied shorthand at night.

Lyndon B. Johnson At the time the U.S. was involved in the Vietnam war and the economy was good because the Vietnam war was good for business for the U.S., but we had bad social issues like drugs and stuff like that and some people liked him and others didn’t but most of them liked him.

Stan Musial He played all 3 outfield positions and sometimes played first base. Bio (born Nov. 21, 1920, Donora, Pa., U.S.) U.S. baseball player. Musial played his entire career for the St. Louis Cardinals (194163), starting as a pitcher but switching to the outfield and ultimately to first base. A left-handed batter, Stan the Man became one of the game's great hitters. His lifetime totals of hits (3,630), runs (1,949), and times at bat were second only to those of Ty Cobb his total of runs batted in (1,951) was the fourth-highest of all time, and his total of extra- base hits (1,477) was only surpassed later by Hank Aaron. Popular among fans for his unfailing graciousness, he became a Cardinals executive after retirement. "I never realized that batting a little ball around could cause so much commotion." - Stan Musial

Warren Beatty Warren Beatty made his debut as a tortured teenager in Splendor in the Grass (1961). His next big role was in Bonnie and Clyde (1967), which he also produced. The film became a colossal hit and a milestone in cinema history. Beatty was nominated for four Oscars for Heaven Can Wait and won one for directing Reds, in which he also starred. He has written, directed and starred in many films since

My Opinion I found that the article about Stan Musial was very interesting to me because I like sports and if it is about sports then I'm probably going to like it. I also found that the drug use was interesting because they did it all the time and didn’t even know that it was bad for them

Teen Years in 1967 If I was a teenager in 1967 I would always be doing drugs and getting high and drinking just partying with my friends. There would be people at my house dealing drugs all the time and I would just have fun and party the whole time just cause I didn’t know that drugs were bad for me.
