 Is a useable source of energy which is intended to reduce the use of fossil fuels. Because fossil fuels are nonrenewable resources.

 The wind turbine (propeller) works to bring the energy of the wind into the windmill which produces useful energy.  Wind power used to be used to pump water, but now days windmills actually can power electricity.

Pro’sCon’s  Does not produce pollution, which is good for global warming.  Very low cost  There are some big industrial bases.  Does not require a fuel cost.  Can be places in a body of water, meaning no need to use land, and no loud noises.  There are even small wind turbines being used to produce power for small buildings and establishments.  To some people the low sound of the wind meeting the blades is bothersome.  Loss of scenery.  If not placed in water then the wind turbines can take up a lot of land space.

 By 2020 government says that every home in Brittan will be powered by wind turbines  In the next twelve years, twenty million more homes will be powered by wind energy.  Obama has passed wind as a “clean energy” & has high hopes of wind power becoming more common by  "I think that what you do here is a glimpse of the future, and it's a future where America is less dependent on foreign oil, more reliant on clean energy produced by workers like you.“ Quotes Obama on

 Well in Texas right now, wind power is ranked number one in the nation.  They are saying right now, that 20% of the world will be powered by windmills by  Why it isn’t our first choice of energy I cannot find that online. But I have a feeling it has something to do with the cons listed in slide four.

 Wind energy really doesn’t release any kind of negative or hazardous waste into the environment, which can actually reduce the pollution rates that are raised by power with gas and fossil fuels.

 Is stored and generated in earth.  Is classified as heat from the core to the service which is created from decayed plants, volcanic activity, and solar energy which has gone down into the earth.

 Geothermal steam is distributed out of the reservoir and is separated from the harmful gasses, The hot steam is sent to the scrubber, which then leads to the turbine turns and rotates. The steam that is passed turns into liquid steam which is reused again, and it goes around in a cycle.

ProsCons  Heating buildings  Reduces acid rain by 97%  Renewable resource, every time it rains it provides useful energy capable of heating a building or business  Geothermal plants do not take up much space leaving the environment a little more presentable.  Have to drill into a specific part of the earth.(Dangerous, and not to eye catching)  Releases some hazardous gasses.  Since the layers in the earth are at a constant, the well can dry up eventually, leading to closure of the electricity plant and loss of much needed money.

 On April the U.S government had donated 5million dollars to rehabilitate some sort of geothermal plant.  The government also plans to soon have about 67% of the world powered by renewable recourses  It is not used as the number one energy source because of cost and availability, because most of the “best” spots to get the hot liquid is near volcanoes it is very expensive and dangerous.

 Geothermal energy releases some harmful gasses which cause pollution. This as everyone may know, is absolutely horrible for the environment!  However, geothermal energy does somehow reduce the risk of acid rain by 97% percent, which as everyone may know.. Is GREAT!(:
