(Soccer) Do you like soccer, or futbol, or whatever you may call it? Let’s take a look into the sport.

The Necessities Soccer is an amazing sports playing with 2 teams. Each team has 1 goalkeeper and 10 other players. For children, such as me, a team should have 1 goalkeeper and 7 other players. It is fun and easy to play. All you need is one ball and a court.

How to Play! – There can’t be soccer without rules though! Here are the rules. – Throw in- The player keeps their feet on the ground behind the line,2 hands on the ball, and hands behind your head. – Off-Sides- When your team mate passes the ball you must be behind the the last defender, if not, you will be called off-sided- – Handball- If you touch the ball with your hands, the opponent gets a free kick. – Free kick- you get a free strike and goal, only to be obtained with a foul, handball, or booking. Penalty kick if inside of the box. No one can interfere with penalty kicks. – Booking- foul so badly that the player gets a warning or sent off the field. – Corner kick- Kick from the opposite team that has a chance of a header. – Goalkick- A goalies kick that gives the ball (hopefully) to his/her team. – Goal- A player kicks, heads, chests, hands, or taps the ball into the net, and in very few occasions, handing it, which is illegal. Giving a team 1 point each goal.

Players There has always been a dispute over who is or was the best player ever. If you are from Argentina like me, you’ll say Maradona, Messi, Maybe even Di Maria. If you’re from Brazil, you’ll say Pele or Ronaldinho. From Portugal, Ronaldo. If you’re from England or that area, you’ll say Rooney, Van Persie, or Kaka. ( Sorry if Kaka isn’t from that area of Europe). If you’re from Spain, you’ll say the young (not really) Tello, Xabi Alsonso, Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta or Sergio Ramos.

Bad Things Don’t think you can play like a pro so easily. It takes hours and hours of practice to become a decent player. Equipment and other things don’t cost like a penny each though. Some cleats can be up to $440! And, you have to pay to play… Sometimes up to $600!!! Bad things…

Moves Although I don’t know many moves, there are many out there. Such as the Fake and Fly, Nutmeg, Scissor 1, Scissor 2, Scissor 3, Scissor 4, Rainbow, Cryuff Turn, Roulette, Elastico, Reverse Elastico, Stepover, Stepover Pull, Overhead Scissor Kick, Knot (What I call it), Shiki, In & Out, Madonna, In & Side, and those are pretty much all the moves I know.
