Forum on intercultural dialogue Aim: To stimulate local actors to engage in intercultural dialogue at local level, discuss methodological approaches and influence European practice in this field Objectives: To experience a process of intercultural dialogue To establish contacts and networks which they can use as a resource for their future work in intercultural dialogue To explore methodological approaches to Intercultural Dialogue

YES to intercultural dialogue Training course : July 2008 Target group : Staff or board members of youth and / or social organizations, youth and social workers Participants coming from the local Roma organization Parudimous

YES to intercultural dialogue Methods: Working together with the representatives of the Roma community Working individually, in small groups, in plenary or forum discussions, Experiential intercultural learning (learning by doing). Working with Forum Theatre Within the diversity of this training course, the group experienced various situations instead of just talking about them.

YES to intercultural dialogue Results: One public street event 42 young people – 28 young people, youth workers, social workers coming from EU countries, together with 14 young Roma – living, working, sharing the same space for 7 days Visit to Maguri community Media coverage
