What is so great about “Penny” anyway? Let’s take a closer LOOK!

Check out “Penny”! With help of a magnifying glass, can you find the following characteristics of a penny? President’s Face Monument (What is a monument?) Mint (What is a mint?) Date Motto (What is a motto?) In God We Trust The Artist’s Initials (Hint: Look on back near the shrubbery.) United States of America

‘Words to know about “Penny” Monument: (noun) Any place or region officially designated as having special interest or significance, and maintained and preserved by the government. (American Heritage Dictionary, 1976) Penny Puzzler: What is the name of the monument that appears on the back of the U.S. penny?

‘Words to know about “Penny” Mint: (noun) A place where the coins of a country are manufactured by authority of the government. Did you know? The United States has four mints.
