Location  Jacksonville, Charlotte, and Memphis are the largest cities in the region by city-proper population, however, Miami, Atlanta, Orlando, and Tampa are the most populous metropolitan areas in the region.  Great Smoky Mountains,  Appalachian Mountains  Coastal Plain  Big Cypress Swamp  Blue Ridge Mountains SOUTHEAST--  -South of the Midwest and northeast  -East of the southwest  -Southeast of the west  Latitude and longitude of the largest city.  -33° 44' 56" N / 84° 23' 17" W-- (Atlanta, GA)  Some people would chose to live in this region because it is warmer in the winter. In other regions they have harsh, cold winters. The disadvantage in the warm weather is having bug infestations. In the southeast the culture is very rich. This provides opportunities for more crops to be grown. This would be an advantage. Another disadvantage to living in the southeast would be the health. With all of the fatty, higher calorie foods this causes health affects of possibly getting heart disease, high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol. This is probably one of the most unhealthiest places to live in according to the CNN website according to ehow.com.

HEI Detailed description of economic issues. -People are losing jobs therefore the employment rate is very high. -People do not have enough money to travel there as much as they normally do or as planned. -Illegal immigration from cargo ships or other kinds of ships. -Hurricanes or sometimes tornadoes wiping out the crops and farmland so it is difficult to produce things to the other states. What are the reasons that climate effects the settlement rate in this region? -Some people may not like the warmer atmosphere it has down south or the tornadoes and/or hurricanes that may occur down south. How has pollution affected lives of people in this region? -Pollution affects anyone in the way of the water getting contaminated therefore we cannot drink it and the fish are dead so we cannot eat them and the water won’t be clean so we cannot swim in the lakes or polluted oceans. If the air is polluted then it isn't healthy for the body to breathe in.
