The second largest country in South America.

The Brazilian Landscape is full of trees and it has a tropic climate. It is also a country that you could go to to enjoy your next vacaion because of its wonderful beaches.

At first Brazil was just a country inhabited by Natives. The Portuguese weren’t interested in Brazil but then the Portuguese Crown saw that many countries were trying to invade Brazil so they decided they were going to invade and then they took control of Brazil. Since then it has a center of spanish culture and history

The cuisine of Brazil, like itself, varies greatly by region. This diversity reflects the country's mix of native Amerindians, Portuguese, Africans, Italians, Spaniards, Germans, Poles, Syrians, Lebanese and Japanese among others which has created a national cooking style marked by the preservation of regional differences. The national dish of Brazil is whole Feijoada - a meat and bean stew, akin to the French Cassoulet

History of Brazil’s Flag: The flag’s 23 stars in a constellation represent the each state they have. The green and yellow colors represent the battles fought and won in Brazil.

Population:191,908,598 Language: Portuguese Religion: Catholic

Brazil is governed under the 1988 constitution as amended. The president, who is elected by popular vote for a four-year term (and may serve two terms), is both head of state and head of government. There is a bicameral legislature consisting of an upper Federal Senate and a lower Chamber of Deputies. The country is divided into 26 states and one federal district (Brasília); each state has its own governor and legislature.

Brazil has a very god economy ranking 8th in the world’s most domestic economies. It’s biggest imports are mainly oil and construction and manufacturing goods. Some of its exports include cloth fabrics, valuable metals, military equipment, and civilian aircrafts.

Hopefully now you know more about Brazil and maybe you might even visit for a vacation.
