Overview of Georgia Very liberal economic policy High levels of foreign direct investment Poor development of domestic private sector The government refuses to engage Lack of dialogue among sectors The public not influencing gov’t policy Limited impact of NGOs and media

Which means that: The bar for companies set very low No pressure for compliance from the Gov’t No mobilized public

So, why do it? PR tool Reputation Progressive management Orientation towards external markets
