American Express reports meetings are ‘back in business.’ Meetings are expected to play a critical role in a return to business fundamentals, and this trend should help drive the long-term health of the industry. Meeting budgets are likely to show positive movement, either through growth or less of a decline than was seen previously.

Meetings Outlook TM Summer 2015 Edition MPI’s quarterly report indicates continued intelligent growth in the meeting and event industry. (Published August 2015)
Key Findings Meeting professionals showing a renewed focus on attendee “wants” – big-name speakers, entertainment and shoulder days. Only 17 percent of respondents are doing nothing to plan for the communication styles of the numerous generations of attendees; 40 percent comprehensively tailor planning for every event with this challenge in mind.
