CWS Priorities in Moldova

CWS and Children New Childrens Approach: New Childrens Approach: CWS Europes primary focus is on orphans and children without parental care in Moldova. They are, in general, at a greater risk of abuse. CWS Europe are working with vulnerable children who neglect and abuse. New initiatives: New initiatives: Investing in innovative children projects : Moldova –foster families

Improving Child Protection Systems in the Moldova CWS and its local partner serve the large number of vulnerable children in Moldova by improving their safety, well-being, and development. 2

Children and Clean Water in Moldova According to a national survey (2009), 61% school children have serious problems related to safe drinking water and sanitation in Moldova Imroving situation of the water and sanitation in schools is a national priority in Moldova In 2011,CWS will provide financial and technical support to build school toilets in Moldova

Community Water Supply and Sanitation In 2011, a community water supply and sanitation project will be a main area of the CWS interventions in Moldova. 3
