COMMAS RULE !!

RULE # 1 Use a comma before but, or, nor, for, so, and yet when they join independent clauses. Hector pressed the button, and the engine started up.

RULE # 2 Use a comma with an introductory adverb clause. When you see smoke, you know there is a fire.

RULE # 3 Use a comma after an introductory word. Ah, nothing tastes as good as cold lemonade on a hot day!

RULE # 4 Use a comma after introductory phrases: -participial phrase -prepositional phrase (if 4 + words) -prepositional phrase (if 2 or more in a row) -Infinitive phrase used as an adjective
