Polka

What is it!? A dance that is done at FUN, OUT OF CONTROL, Wedding Receptions! It is a dance that allows you to let loose and have fun!

You Will Need 1.Shoes 2.Dance Hall 3.Music Optional: 1.Dance Lessons 2.CD’s

If…. YOU DA MAN-Hold your partner along the back with your right hand YOUR THE WOMAN-Rest your left arm along your partners back, pressing your extended hands together.

Basic Step 1 and 2, 3 and 4 Man leads with left foot forward, left, right, left Women starts with right foot back, going right, left, right

Right Turning Basic Left foot, going forward starts the turn for 1 and 2, 3 and forward brings you back to the forward facing. Arms-Men push with left hand and pull with right hand

Forward Promenade Both people move forward Hop, two, three instead of 1 and 2, 3 and 4

Other Steps Hop, Clap Clap, Hop, Clap Clap (Hands above head) –then next 4 count girls twirl and boys bring left foot forward and tap with hand then left foot back x2
