9 Latest developments Support to Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum Preserving Authenticity – nine tasks for years million provided from for restoration, protection and preservation of historical structures and objects.

Examples of projects supported : Holocaust Educational Trust of Ireland In memory of Jewish and other children who died in the Holocaust To introduce young children (eleven or twelve years) to the subject of the Holocaust To stimulate discussion and create awareness about discrimination. To provide guidelines and information for teachers during this activity Ongoing learning about the importance of tolerance and respect

Examples of projects supported : Jewish Museum Prague Project addresses young people aged 12 – 18 They work independently on the stories of the life of the WW II students and children in the same schools/neighbourhoods/regions they go to /live in today, and what were the reasons for their sudden departure

Examples of projects supported : Train of Commemoration To preserve the individual and collective memory of children and youth deported to Nazi concentration camps Exhibition to travel in German and borderline regions of France and the Netherlands

Examples of some other projects supported The Holocaust by Bullets Yahad – In Unum Mosaic of Memory Terezin Initiative The Dossiers behind Faces Jewish Museum of Deportation and Resistance, Mechelen, Belgium An innovative teaching tool based on testimonies from survivors of Holocaust Swedish Committee against antisemitism
