Remarks A final deal is still far from view: The opposition against TTIP in EU member states. Some member states have weak coalition governments, and politically vulnerable. European Parliemant is open to special interests for non-trade issues. These groups are fueled by anti-globalisation sentiments. The US Congress is harsh on the fast-track authority for the President.

Remarks Impact on third countries: Better balance the interests of the TTIP members and third countries? Regulatory issues: favour mutual recognition Inclusive mechanism for 3rd country regulatory bodies Less restrictive rules of origin A sound mechanism for the integration of 3rd countries
