Reorganization Rationalization A process of restructuring the bureaucracy’s organizational and functional set-up to make it more viable in terms of economy, efficiency, effectiveness and make it more responsive to the needs of its clientele as authorized by law. (Rules on Government Reorganization –RA 6656) A strategic review of the operations and organizations of the executive branch and the rationalization of its functions, focusing govt efforts on its vital/core functions, improving the quality and efficiency of govt services, improving agency accountability, and implementing programs and projects of govt within allowable resources.
