Presentation transcript:

Choose a product that you would like to own…a car, a pair of shoes, a laptop, a phone, WHATEVER. Find three stores where it is available. Create a Word or Notepad outline that contains this information on each slide:

Slide 1: The product name as a title and your name as a subtitle Slide 2: The product name as a title followed by a superlative sentence (“It’s the best…It’s the fastest…etc.”) subtitle and a bulleted list of descriptive elements Slide 3: The product name as a title followed by an “Available at…” subtitle and a bulleted list of store names Slide 4 is NOT part of the outline. On slide 4, you will use a two-content layout. On the left side, you will create a table of the three stores where your product is available and the corresponding prices. On the right side, you will turn your table into a simple but elegant column chart.

Each slide must contain an APPROPRIATE sound. (That’s 4 sounds.) Each slide must contain 1 or more pieces of APPROPRIATE clip art. (That’s 4 pieces of clip art.) Each title, subtitle, bulleted item, table and chart must be animated. (That’s 15 animations. Your list of descriptions must have at least 4 elements.) Each piece of clip art must be animated with 1 piece of text. (That’s 4 additional animations.) There must be a transition from slide to slide. (That’s 4 transitions.)

Your children’s story (that’s your Semester One Final!!!) must be finished. All past Word and PowerPoint projects must have been attempted so I can enter at least half for any project ‘missings’. If, as I mark your extra credit project, one item from the rubric list is incomplete or missing, I will stop calculating an extra credit score. So, for example, if I do not get an outline, I will score nothing. If I get an outline and only 3 slides, I will stop calculating at ‘An Outline’. If I get an outline and 4 slides and 5 correctly spelled titles but only 1 correctly spelled subtitle, I will stop calculating at ‘5 Correctly Spelled Titles’.
