Introduction Background – CDP implemented ezEMRx in seven counties five years ago – An EMR workgroup was formed and ezEMRx limitations were identified – The limitations led to the decision to expand requirements – The EMR workgroup redefined the scope of LDH EMR functionality – CDP designed and is developing an EMR that is based on these needs
Designed for Local Public Health users Based on requirements, PHPR, forms used by clinics, and other information provided by the work group Integrated with CDP Portal Extensive security and access control Certified to meet Office of National Coordinator (ONC) criteria for Electronic Health Records Key EMR Features
Provides an encounter list to manage patients that are in the clinic for services Users have access to patients in the list based upon user credentials and controls on the user account Provides users with the ability to customize standard notes A service assistant guides the user step by step through a service based on service type, patient age, and gender Additional Features
