 Search for your name (in gray bar at top)  Advanced Search – ORCID ID, other names, keywords  Languages – include English, Spanish, French, Chinese  Click on For Researchers tab  Sign in *or* Register for an ORCID id  Note ORCID Privacy Settings – Public or Private – can always be changed  Note For Organizations tab  Funders, Publishers, etc. – now request, will soon require!  Sign In with your or ORCID id and password  Add Scopus Author ID to your ORCID profile (see page 2)  Add Web of Science ResearcherID to your profile (see page 3)  Additional (Optional) updates:  Personal biographical information  Education  Employment  Funding  Works (publications) Page 1

 Search for an Author to find Scopus Author ID  try Author Last Name and Affiliation first, then add First Name or Initial  Limit to Physical Sciences  Click on Author to see profile  Note Scopus AuthorID below author name  View potential author matches for “orphan” publications – request a merge  Click Add to ORCID (at top of right column).  Authorize the import of your identifier, profile and publications to ORCID  Select your Scopus profile(s ) – there may be more than one…  Select the preferred profile name  Review your authored publications (and/or search for missing documents)  Send the Scopus ID to ORCID  Send my publication list (optional)  Get Citation Alerts - Inform me when this author publishes a new article  Set Citation Alerts – Inform me when this author is cited in Scopus  Show Related Affiliations (in bottom of right column)  Click on LIVE CHAT for answers to your questions!  Sign in using your ResearcherID or click Join Now It’s Free!  Once signed in, click on My Researcher Profile  Click on orange button Manage Profile in upper right  Halfway down the form, Add your ORCID  Click on Exchange Data with ORCID and choose options  Note that you can update your affiliations, publication lists, etc.  Click on Refer a Colleague – warn them that invitation may land in SPAM  Click on Search to find other researchers who have registered  Watch ResearcherID and ORCID Integration video  Page 3  How to update your Researcher ID profile.  wokinfo.com/training_support/training/researcher-id/
