 AV equipment is unfamiliar  Sound or video doesn’t work  Improper use of video: When is it best to show the video?  Student tardiness (Getting to AV Room)  Set-up may take too much time

 Inform your teachers well in advance  Familiarize yourself with your school’s AV equipment  If possible, set-up the video before class time and have a practice run  Know what the purpose of your video is and tie it into the lesson topic

 Tired of “Let’s talk about me!” lessons?  Grab a camera with filming capability  Gather your international friends (preferably in the area)  Film their introductions  Edit and burn onto a DVD Let’s take a look…

 For added benefit, make your own commercial with your teachers. It’s well worth the effort! Take a look at the next video…
