History Program assumptions of the Distance Advisory Study Network appeared in year 2000 (project fiche) The network started in 2004 with it`s first course " The Quality Standards of agricultural production – the animal production and plant production” in frames of the Phare Programme PL the "National System of Advising Agricultural” ( )

Distance Advisory Study Network DASN - Polish-wide  There are 16 Distance Advisory Study Centres (DASC), (one in each voivodeship).  National Contact Point (NCP) was created in 1 unit on the national level Tasks of DASC – local services:  Presenting offer of planned courses  Participants' recruitment  Help to participants in realization of courses  Providing of contacts, exchange of information with NCP

DASN- technical equippment Each DASC and NCP is equipped with:  server and local network  20 computers with LCD monitors  software  videoprojector  color printer and copier Brwinów is equipped with Training Platform and Lotus Learning Space 5.01 software Częstochowa is equipped with post server, corporation portal

Distance Learning Department (in Brwinów) Tasks: The co-ordination of Distance Advisory Study Network (the SCDO). Elaboration of educational materials (courses and modules to distance learning). The co-operation with institutions and organizations on the national and international level.

Tasks: Elaboration of the training offer directed to advisors, teachers, farmers and other inhabitants of rural areas Co-ordination of programmes realized in co- operation with national institutions and organizations as well as partners from EU countries Creation and management of the national system of advisory information (help desk )

Summary At present the system of education proposed by AAC is aimed only for agricultural advisors Our intention is to develop this form of education for farmers and the rural inhabitants. Pilot project – "Grosz to grosz, that is how to invest”
