Create an account nowIf you have a Google account, sign in using your and password. If you don’t have a Google account, click on the Create an account now link on the right-hand side of the page. Follow all the instructions and information. verifyYou will also need to go to your and verify the account by clicking on a link in that . After that your Google account is activated. more DocumentsAfter logging in to your Google account, click on the more link at the top of the page and go down to Documents.

To upload your Power Point presentation UploadClick on the Upload button on the left-hand side of the page. Select files to uploadClick on the Select files to upload link. Browse to your Power Point file, click the Open button and the file will appear in the box. Put a check  in both boxes under Select Conversion Option at the bottom. Start UploadClick the Start Upload button. Click on the Back to Google Docs. link at the top of the page. Click on All Items, and your presentation should appear under Today, if it is not already on the page. Using Google Docs. Google Docs. Google Docs.

To work on your presentation Click on the presentation file name and a new window with your presentation will appear. You will now be able to edit your power point from this window in Google Docs. Go to File and click on Rename- rename your file- Period________your name (first and last) {example: Period 8 Joe Smith} When you have finished working on your presentation go to file and save. To Share your Power Point presentation 1.To share the presentation, put a check  in the box to the left of the presentation you wish to share. 2.Then click on the share link at the top of the page and go to Share settings. 3.In the Share settings box, click on the Change link. 4.Under the Visibility options, click on the Anyone with the link button and click the save button. 5.To share your presentation, click on the box under Add people and enter the person’s address with whom you want to share your presentation. 6.Share your presentation with Mr. Cook- his is 7.Click on the Can edit button and set it to Can View. 8.Click the Share button. To Save your Power Point presentation to your file at school Go to your Google account on a school computer. You are always welcome in room 214 before school and the Media Center lab is open as well. Google Docs.Double click on the presentation to open it in Google Docs. Then go to file and click on download as, and power point. In the box that appears click on save file, then OK. A downloads list will appear- double click on the presentation and it will now appear in Microsoft PowerPoint. Now you can edit it and save it to your file at school. Using Google Docs. Google Docs.
