Basic Camp Equipment

What can I put inside my tent? Constructing a Fire Pit  Make sure a certain distance from tent  Cut sod in a rectangle  Also make a center cut  Use shovel to dig out the two pieces  Set sod aside  Replace when it’s time to go home  Add stones around pit  Add wood  Start fire  Set up kitchen irons

What Happens if it Rains?  Dig trench around tent  Drain water away from tent

Safety Regulations  Fire pit certain feet away from tent  Add rocks around pit  Have emergency equipment nearby  Women watch your petticoats
