Napoleon and Nationalism- Napoleon unites France by telling the French how wonderful they are, that their culture is better than everyone else’s. The French army spreads this message to all the lands they invade. However, this actually hurts Napoleon’s ability to conquer these nations, because each country decides that their nation is Better than France in order to unite their own people against Napoleon!
