Population: Size: Km 2 Language: English Britain is a member of the European Union (E.U.) since 1973 but they still use British pounds instead of Euro. London

CLIMATE Britain has different climates North, South, East and West as follows: NW - cool summers, mild winters, heavy rain NE - cool summers, cool winters, relatively dry all year SE - warm summers, cold winters, some rain all year especially summer SW - warm summers, mild winters, rain all year especially winter The reason for this is because different air masses come from each direction as follows: North - Arctic very cold East - Continental from Europe and Asia South - Tropical warm West - Maritime air has crossed Atlantic bringing wet weather Britain has a variable weather that changes from day to day which means it is difficult to predict.
