Purpose The Early Intervention Program is… designed to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level performance additional instructional opportunities for students focused toward reaching grade level performance in the shortest possible time.
Program Structure *Service K – 3 = 45 minute segments 4 – 5 = 50 minute segments *Students should exit EIP upon reaching grade level performance. *ESOL students may be served in EIP class, but EIP may not take the place of ESOL

What about the point plan you’ve heard about? RTI information They are part of RTI and are maintained by the homeroom teacher.
Students who scored below the 25 th percentile or failed the GCRCT will have a point plan. This is a document that is updated every 2-3 weeks by the homeroom teacher. We will be monitoring their progress. Parents will meet with the RTI team at least twice this year to discuss this data. RTI Response To Intervention
