Amendment 1 & 9 Basic rights such as the right to privacy can not be taken away. You have the freedom of speech, religion, press, and peaceful protest. 7

Amendment 12 The elections for the president and the vice president are held separately. If none of the candidates have the required majority of votes to win, the House of Representatives picks the winner. 10

Amendment 13 Slavery and involuntary servitude are illegal. 11

Amendment The number of representatives a state has depends on the states population. People who have rebelled against the United States or, helped an enemy of the U.S. can’t be elected to office.

Amendment 15 Every citizen has the right to vote no matter what race they are. Vote 13

Amendment The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes.

Amendment 17 The Senate is composed of 2 senators from each State. Each senator has one vote. 15

Amendment 18 There shall be no making, selling, or transportation of alcoholic beverages. You can’t consume alcohol This amendment has been repealed. 16

Amendment 19 Rights shall not be denied an account of gender. If you are a woman you still have the same rights as men. 17

Amendment 20 The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20 th day of January Congress shall assemble at least once a year. 18

Amendment 21 The eighteenth amendment has been repealed. You can now buy and consume liquor. 19

Amendment 22 The terms of the President and Vice President shall be limited to two terms. You can only be in office for 8 years. 20

Amendment 23 Gives the district of columbia the right to participate in electing the president and vice president. 21

Amendment 25 In case of removal of the internet the Vice President will become President. In case of the Vice Presidents removal the speaker of the house will take over. 23

Amendment year olds shall not be denied their rights to vote. 18 year olds can vote. 24

Amendment 27 There shall be no law changing the pay of U.S. Senators and Representatives There is a set pay for all Senators and Representatives 25
