Planning Requirements Planning grants must be used to develop and offer a sustainable competency-based program for students, ages 22 and older Ages 22+

Planning Requirements Allows students to obtain a high school diploma while completing the requirements for an approved industry credential or certificate through a competency-based approach Provides career advising and outreach

Eligible Applicants Ohio Community Colleges Technical Colleges State Community Colleges Ohio Technical Centers

Planning Grants Funded from $250,000 - $450,000 Up to five eligible institutions Geographically dispersed across the state within five regions

Budget FY 2016FY2017 $3,750,000$5,000,000 FY16 $1,250,000 up to five additional pilot sites $2,500,000 implementation of FY15 pilots

Funding Model Recommendations

Funding Formula (Career Pathway Training + Work Readiness Training) × 1.2 for Associated Services)
