Diet  The lemming has a special polar diet. A lemming is a herbivore. A herbivore means it eats just plants. A lemming eats moss, plants like flowers, grass, roots, berries, lichens, seeds. They're predator's are owls, wolfs and foxes.A predator is something that eats something. Lemmings make paths through the snow to find food. I hope you had fun learning about lemmings diet.

Habitat Polar animals habitats are usually found in the coldest parts of the world. Lemmings live in Northern Canada which is closer to the artic. The artic is very cold. The artic is made of ice.Did you know that lemmings have bathrooms, nesting rooms and even sleeping rooms ! The rooms are made of dirt. They dig tunnels or burrows then they add the rooms ! Lemmings habitat is very special because it helps them survive in northern Canada.

 A lemming’s appearance is very unique. A lemming has gray and white fur. Lemmings also have whiskers. A lemming looks like a hamster. Lemmings are four long. They weigh 40 oz. They get smaller in the winter and fatter in the summer. The way a lemming looks is special because it helps them stay worm in the freezing weather. In the summer they get more food in winter they get less food because it is covered in snow. Appearance

 The life cycle of a lemming is interesting. A baby lemming is called a baby lemming. Babies are born in burrows under the snow. Lemmings live for only two years. Every five weeks females have eleven babies. The way lemmings live is interesting. Baby lemmings are black and white when they are born. Life Cycle

 lemmings feet get bigger in the winter and smaller in the summer. Lemmings legs and claws are strong for digging. Fun Facts
