Differentiating Instruction The McDougall Littell Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 Textbook Series offer 3 strands of coursework based on student skill level. Basic/Regular/Advanced

Differentiating Instruction Differentiation is offered in each classroom by utilizing the different skill level strands and teacher supplied supplements.

Differentiating Instruction The current seventh grade and eighth grade curriculum is designed to reach across the Basic and Regular Strands.

Differentiating Instruction Struggling students have an opportunity to feel success by being challenged with additional skill level mathematics.

Differentiating Instruction Advanced students have the opportunity to participate in more challenging skill level mathematics.

Summer Curriculum Study In 2008, The Seventh and Eighth Grade Teachers Participated in the Summer Mathematics Curriculum Study

Summer Curriculum Study The KEY to implementing and maintaining a successful Mathematics Program is the Summer Curriculum Study.

Summer Curriculum Study What was accomplished: 1)New Curriculum was implemented 2)Pacing Charts were created 3)Curriculum Guides were created

Summer Curriculum Study What was accomplished: 4) Curriculum Overviews were created 5) Pre and Post Tests were created 6) District Assessments were created

Summer Curriculum Study What needs to happen each year through Curriculum Studies: Curriculum, Pacing Charts and Common Assessments need to be reflected on, revisited and revised for future growth and success.
