Athena Adryan Lewman

Goddess of Wisdom & Military Victory She often helped heroes. She wore an aegis which is a goatskin shield. She stopped the madness from getting any worse. She was given the gorgon head.

Athena was Hercules’ half-sister. Her parents were Zeus & Metis. Zeus heard that if Athena was to be born, she would become the lord of heaven. To prevent this from happening, Zeus swallowed Metis while she was still pregnant with Athena. When Athena was ready to be born, the smith god, Hephaistos, opened Zeus’s head with an ax. Then, out came Athena fully gown & in full armor. When Hercules’ went on a rage & killed his children, Athena stopped the madness from getting worse. When an insane hero tried to kill Amphitryon, Athena through a stone at Hercules’, knocking him unconscious. Athena also helped Hercules’ in many ways as well.

Personally, I think that the Greeks & other people around the nation believe in these Myths simply because with how our world works. Some could believe these stories are true because of the weather changing & also the seasons changing. Some might not believe in Jesus or our God so they believe in these Myths.
