© Fondazione Torino Wireless2007 Cooperation between SCS-TOWL In addition to above drivers, MoU between Pole SCS –TOWL and subsequent cooperation triggered promote international cooperation at cross border scale which is the dimension inducing faster growth of industry/cooperation oriented hi-tech exports (OECD, 2005) Facilitates SMEs cooperation with international partners (SMEs cooperate less than larger firms on international markets) and h elps better compensate limited resources of individual SMEs via the enlarged network it contributes to increase attractive factor for inward investments as it preludes to a larger converging market/area by establising structured ways for cooperation it could lead to a cross-country Innovation area build upon respective skills and competences, anticipating potential scale and agglomeration economies thanks to complementarities and relative proximity of poles
