Objectives: Freight Increase the contribution of low carbon transport nodes (rail, inland navigation, shipping) Systems and procedures for smooth modal integration (interoperability and integrity of intermodal information flows) Improving the efficiency and capacity of inter-modal freight transfer nodes 4

Types of projects that can be funded Studies or Works Studies: To increase maturity of implementation Environmental or design studies to obtain construction permits (for construction 2014 – 2020) Works: Establish inter-modal transfer nodes between at least one low carbon mode and another Priority to nodes involving more than one low carbon mode 7
