CRITICAL ISSUES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION RESTRUCTURED ACCELERATED POWER DEVELOPMENT AND REFORMS PROGRAMME (R-APDRP) IssuesResolution Network issues / Performance and availability Increase of Bandwidth from 2Mbps to 4Mbps at each SDO of BESCOM, with Optical fiber as the last mile connectivity ITIA to confirm on the application stability after up gradation of the network to 4Mbps. BSNL links being integrated by ITIA in some sites as an alternate to meet the targets. GIS Demonstration on GIS based integrated Network analysis Module NEPLAN yet to be given by ITIA Incremental data updates on Network and Consumers incorporated by ITIA at Mulbagil town only MDAS The legacy meter replacement to DLMS meters are in progress Nos of meters already fixed and commissioned and balance 18322Nos will be completed with in Nov-2013 at BESCOM Joint validation of field data by ITIA and SDO along with the communication check by RCOM is in progress. Activation of SIM cards by ESCOMs in progress Energy Audit SIM card not communicating at many places, packet loss in data communication Modems burnt at sites- Committee formed to analyze the issue GIS Incremental update and PART B network up gradation to be incorporated Software Simplification Driven by BESCOM and requirements gathered by ITIA. Phase wise deployment planned and targeted for completion in Dec 2013 Training–Super users Planned Energy Audit in Nov and Dec Super user shall own the TT resolution process as 1 st Point of contact. Super users trained at Bangalore SDOs. Other 24 towns is planned for Nov 1 st Week Similar plan will be adopted at other ESCOMs 5
