Absorption enhancements How they work

Dermoelectroporation® provides.. Dermoelectroporation Technology provides the following: Skin Bio Revitalization treatments

Existing Technologies Microdermabrasion Medical and Aesthetic application 1st transdermal pathway Small molecules allowed to pass Low delivery rate (twice topical) Effects limited to the skin surface No current applied For use on human beings

Existing Technologies Traditional Pulsed Ionthophoresis (1to 5mA) Medical and Aesthetic application Only small molecules allowed Ineffective for high weight molecules Low AC current level applied Changes the pH of ionic drug solutions Electrolysis of the ionic solution For use on human beings Low AC current level applied

Existing Technologies Traditional Galvanic Ionthophoresis (1to 5mA) Medical and Aesthetic application Only small molecules allowed No high weight molecules delivered Low DC current level applied Changes the pH of ionic drug solutions Electrolysis of the ionic solution For use on human beings Low DC current level applied

Existing Technologies Electroporation (higher than 5mA) In vitro application only High peak currents to “porate” the stratum corneum High risk of skin damage Big sized molecules deliverable Adverse effects For in lab test only not to use on human beings High peak current level applied

Existing Technologies Aquaphoresys (1to 5mA) Medical and Aesthetic application Only small molecules allowed Ineffective for high weight molecules Ultrasounds and current applied Changes the pH of ionic drug solutions Electrolysis of the ionic solution For use on human beings Low AC current level applied

Existing Technologies Ultrasounds Medical and Aesthetic application No current applied High vibration frequency on the skin Infra-cellular spaces involved Small molecules allowed to pass Low delivery rate (twice topical) Effects limited to the skin surface For use on human beings

Existing Technologies Sonphoresys Medical and Aesthetic application No current applied Sonic waveforms the skin Infra-cellular spaces involved Small molecules allowed to pass Low delivery rate (twice topical) Effects limited to the skin surface For use on human beings

Existing Technologies Micro-currents (0 to .5mA) Aesthetic application only Very small current applied Very Low delivery rate Effects limited to the skin surface For use on human subjects

Existing Technologies Cosmetic absorption enhancers (.5 to 1mA) Aesthetic application only Very small current applied Low/mid delivery rate Effects limited to the skin surface Infra-cellular spaces involved Small molecules allowed to pass For use on human beings

Existing Technologies Topical Patches Local Aesthetic application only Very low current applied Very Low delivery rate (takes more time) Effects limited to the skin surface Some adverse effect reported For use on human beings

Innovation in transdermal “drug” Delivery Why we say Innovation? 3 big problems not solved yet with old technologies: 1) Transdermal delivery of macromolecules without side effects 2) Irritation associated to long treatments sessions 3) Efficacy in the long term Engineering of Florence - Italy developed a new methodology using the new Dermoelectroporation technology part of the Transdermal Delivery procedure that eliminates those problems.

Dermoelectroporation® Solution Dermoelectroporation® removes the limitations… combines the advantages of the existing technologies to create the COLLAGENIZER® system

Latest innovation in transdermal Collagen delivery How we solve problems ? 1) Transdermal delivery of macromolecules without side effects Collagenizer® can deliver either micro and macro molecules using low current as proven by scientific publications, clinical reports, studies and doctors using the machine worldwide. 2) Irritation associated to long treatments session Collagenizer® can deliver any type of drugs with no additional return electrode to avoid discomforts 3) Efficacy in the long term Collagenizer® is used by professional users getting astonishing results instantly, mid and long term.

Dermoelectroporation® means… Dermo = From preventive MicroDERMoabrasion. Electroporation = From the shape of the electrical pulses that are instead lowered in current - max 1mA- delivered on the dermis after microdermabrasion. These pulses that are similar in shape to the electroporation, are instead, completely different from those in value, time duration, electrical characteristics.

Dermoelectroporation® features Dermoelectroporation technology …… utilizes the skin’s water based “channels” Controlled “electroporation-like” continuous reversed polarity electrical pulses (Average current value on the patient is zero). Increase the skin permeability to allow transdermal delivery of micro-molecules and macro-molecules No modification of the ionic drug solutions pH and no electrolysis effect of the ionic solution itself.  Dermoelectroporation takes less time vs traditional Ionthophoresis devices to deliver the same amount of ionic drug solution. Dermoelectroporation does not need any skin pH-Compensating patch because does not causes irritation on the skin as Ionthophoresis devices do.

Dermoelectroporation® … Unique features: Allow to deliver macromolecules (greater than 800.000d) Positive and negative ions of the drug are delivered at the same time Do not cause Electrolysis neither change the drug pH Do not irritate nor make any damage to the skin. Do not need return electrode, conductive gels, pre charged compounds, pH compensating patches. Allow to determine the dosage to administer. Allow the reproducibility of the treatment.
