Communication Communication: is our preferred method. To eliminate classroom interruptions, we ask that parents respect instructional time and avoid “dropping in”. If you are planning to have lunch with your child, please wait in the cafeteria. Friday Communications: There will be a weekly sent with important information. In case of an emergency, please call the front office directly. Responsibility Pillar -No Rescue Rule

Art Masterpiece This program is a national art enrichment program that is taught at Hull Elementary on an entirely volunteer basis.  Volunteer Art Guides do not have to have a background in art, and most do not.  Please consider volunteering for your child’s classroom. The lessons cover a wide range of artists and art styles in order to promote art literacy. Hull has a dedicated art classroom to teach these lessons! All lessons are prepared for you ahead of time and we provide multiple trainings on how to teach lessons and use the media. Sign up today with your teacher!  Contact Sara Mercill or Kristen Boyd at for more information.

Important Tid-Bits: Parent Volunteers: We welcome volunteers for copying, preparing projects, etc,. There will be a 5 th grade level basket placed in the workroom. Please place all copies in mailboxes. Morning Procedures: All students need to line up on the basketball courts and wait for their homeroom teacher to escort them into the building. No students or parents should be in the 5 th grade hallway before school. Breakfast: Please make sure your children have breakfast prior to coming to school. If you are running behind, breakfast can be purchase here at school. Please don’t send your child with a Starbucks drink or any other drink that needs to be finished in class. Visitors: In the past we have had problems with parents or older siblings interrupting instructional time by “dropping in” without notification. We feel a partnership with parents is essential, however, our first priority is to the students. If you have questions or concerns, please us directly.

Before You Leave… Please sign in and complete the Student Emergency Form before leaving tonight. The rest of the paper work is for you to take home, review, complete and return before Friday, July 25 th.  See donation and volunteer opportunities, we welcome any and all assistance  Teachers will meet the students on the basketball court on Monday. Please have your child look for their homeroom teacher’s sign.  Stop by the Cafeteria to update your child’s lunch account.

Thank you for coming tonight! Your support and participation makes a world of difference!
