6 Profit from the CHANGE project Help SMEs optimise their energy use –train intelligent energy advisors at Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCIs) to give concrete assistance to SMEs Expected results: –Information events for 11,600 businesses –Energy pre-checks for 530 businesses –Provision of market intelligence via website and newsletters –Guidelines and best practices for supporting SMEs on Intelligent Energy issues 61 chambers in 12 EU countries

7 Energy Efficiency in the Tourism Industry (EETI) EXPECTED RESULTS Energy benchmark tool, handbook on energy investments, best practices guides At least 800 hotels use EETI materials and invest in energy efficiency measures Campaign in 25+ destinations and involving 25+ hotel associations 8,000+ hotels and organisations reached Hotels consume too much energy – and Europe has half of the worlds hotel rooms TARGET GROUPS SME hotel managers & associations national tourism bodies tour operators

8 QUALICERT – small-scale renewables in buildings Common certification and accreditation of installers with mutual recognition in France, Austria, Italy, Poland and Greece Transfer results to all EU Member States Led by national energy agencies with industry and builders associations Target group: training bodies for certification of installers => Renewables in buildings – better trained installers and improved consumer confidence

9 AGRIFORENERGY I+II Connecting demand & supply in bio-heating, pure vegetable oils, and biogas/bio-methane Reaching out: potential suppliers & end-users involved, 85 workshops, 75 study tours, 160 meetings Driving markets: 50 new wood energy plants, 13 vegetable oil plants, 11 biogas plants, bio-methane for 1500 vehicles Building skills: 25 bioenergy contact points trained Protecting the environment: t of CO2 savings per year => Energy supply and services – a new perspective for farmers and foresters
