Before FCCLA there was FHA . . . Future Homemakers of America was founded in 1945 in Chicago In the summer of 1999 FHA became FCCLA Headquarters - located in Reston, Virginia
What is FCCLA? A national student organization that helps young men and women become strong leaders in their families, careers, and communities! FCCLA is the largest youth organization with the family as its central focus!
National membership is nearly 222,000 with over 8,000 local chapters.
