King Henry VIII Who? What? Why? Where? When?
Who was Henry VIII? King Henry VIII was born in 1491 his father was King Henry VII and his mother was Elizabeth of York. King Henry VIII was second son of King Henry VII. When his brother died he realized that he was the only heir left. When King Henry VIII was a boy he was an intelligent and handsome boy but he was reckless.
Where did it take place? King Henry VIII lived in England mostly in Greenwich palace. He also lived in Whitehall, Richmond and Hampton Court. His crowning probably took in Greenwich palace.
What happened when he became King? What happened when king Henry became king is he lowered the taxation and then immediately married his dead brothers widow Catherine of Aragon, divorced her and married Anne Boleyn beheaded her and then married Jane Seymour died,Anne of Cleeves was divorced, Katherine Hoard was beheaded and Catharine Par survived. He had only 3 children who lived and the were Mary I, Elizabeth I ( mother Anne Boleyn and Prince Edward IV (mother Jane Seymour). He became famous by killing and divorcing his wives.
When he was crowned king? He was crowned king at the age and ruled from He ruled for about 48 years and approximately live to the age 66. This is something he would have worn as a crown.
Why he was crowned King? He was going to be crowned king after his brother died at an early age. He was a monarch and leader of the church but because he wanted to divorce his wife and the church said no so he separated the England church from the Roman catholic church and became supreme head of the church of England and set out to suppress monasteries.
